 A Webcast was Born,
That is Growing & Casting Well Beyond Anyone's Dreams!

Greetings, I am Joey Nadeau-Show Announcer & Producer of "All T'ings Cajun" these web pages will tell you about how this show come in to the lime light.

Not exactly Joey Nadeau just his twin look alike.
Chuck Kaiton who was the voice of the former Hartford Whalers.
Now, is the voice of the Carolina Hurricanes.
This proves what Joey looks like without a moustache during the month of April!

It all started way back in 1966 when, I had Mrs. Marie Parker in kindergarden & appearing on a local TV station children's show as one of many child guests, called the Ranger Station with Ranger Andy.

(most guests of the show had received this postcard you see above & some lifesavers candy as a parting gift)

Ranger Andy AKA Orville Andrews
"The Ranger Station" aired from 1957 until 1968 between 4 until 4:30PM over WTIC-TV Channel 3
in Hartford, week days was a favorite of kids.
Joey was one of his guests in 1966.
Orville "Ranger Andy" Andrews passed away in 1968 where it continued with many hosts until the mid 1980's moving to Saturdays then disapearing into cancellation.

( Photo courtesy of wticalumni.com. There is more broadcast history in the Hartford, CT., USA area here too! )

She also fasinated me with saying different French words; later on, the filthy stuff from my French Canadian relatives!!! Then, in the next year, in 1967 at, Broad Brook Grammar School in East Windsor, CT. US and having Mrs. Katherine Bennet in the first grade. You see, Mrs. Bennet was the mother of a young local (Hartford, CT., USA) TV & Radio personality Brad Davis. Young Brad at the time, had a teen dance show called,"The Brad Davis Show" & "The Summer Scene". Brad helped launch such carreers of "The Carpenters" from West Haven, CT. and countless others like the late Gene Pitney. Through the courtesy of young Brad Davis, we had a free tour of then WTIC-TV & Radio; now WFSB in Hartford. Brad Davis can be heard locally in Hartford @ WDRC-AM 1360, Monday thru Friday, 5am until 10am.

Today Brad Davis has a radio program in the Hartford, Connecticut, USA area every morning between 5AM until 10AM on WDRC - AM 1360 and live on line. An interesting fact that Joey in his teens; 1978 until 1980 used to call Brad's show with a "Rosie Joke". Rosie was a carted sound of a cow mooing. Everytime you call in to the show and gave a clean riddle like, "What side of the cow has the most hair"? answer was,"the outside", Rosie would moo.

Joey was a regular caller between 6 until 6:30 AM between Monday through Friday.
Brad would say, "let's just who is on the line here". and, Joey would say'"This is Big Bad Joe here"; a nickname Joey earned for his late foreman, Greg Mulka when he worked in Connecticut, USA's shade tobacco industry.

You can thank his late father Joe, Sr for stiring up the pot there!

Brad Davis.
Known to the folks in Hartford, CT., USA,
as the Dick Clark of Connecticut.
He has launched the careers of the Carpenters and, Gene Pitney!

This was a picture of "Broadcast House": the former home of WTIC - WFSB TV Channel 3, in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
This building was demonished recently to make way for a new building as of May 2010.
This is where shows like "The Ranger Station" , "The Brad Davis Show" and Joey got his first taste of his broadcasting fond thoughts he had experiance.
The view was facing North by North West now, an empty lot.

The second photo is the back of the building that was facing west again, this building has been torn down to make way for a taller building in the immediate future. So far, there is some problems with the soil and many other real estate situations.

Ever since then, I have been always interested in broadcasting in either television and radio.
I have met many of radio & television personalities over the past years and, they not for a moment ever discouring my dream to be a radio announcer or someplace within the broadcast media.
By taking countless pledges,  writing script for CPTV & Radio propagated even more driving broadcasting signals in the middle 1990's.
Then, in July of 1999, I saw an add in a local employment paper looking for radio announcers with no experiance necessary.
I was reluctant at first with the support of my fiancee at the time and wife Joanne, I took the plunge.
I was hooked and having a ball doing radio then and even today! All that matters to me is that I entertain my listeners and to let them know that I won't be letting them down.
When the 911 catastrophie happened in the United States, every media outlet in the area was either playing patriotic music or, carring news updates.
Not me!! I thought that the world needs even more happiness these days and someone like me, is the barrer of giving that joy!!
Always let the good times roll......

You Too, Can Be a Guest on the Show

It's not very often that guests stop by the studio but when they do, it makes the entire time just move along rather quickly. Once in a while, Herman "The Yodeler" Roy  stops by with a slightly more than a naughty joke with a song possibly a yodel or two. I remember the very last time Herman was in the studio, he yodeled so loud, he nearly blew my mixer board lights plus, all the dogs in Hartford, Connecticut neighborhood were howeling too! What a mess! One time, a well known television actor from the middle sixties & seventies detective shows was in our building @ New Park Avenue to make some local law office commercials. You can say about this man from UNCLE, that he "means - business"!
